What's your story? I grew up in Southern, Maine, and moved to Bozeman in the fall of 2014 after graduating from Connecticut College. I played hockey throughout my life, from youth hockey in my hometown, to college hockey in Connecticut. In the fall of 2015, after having 2 winters with no hockey, I realized I needed it back in my life. I joined Bozeman Amateur Hockey Association that fall as goalie for the Old Crush. BAHA and my team were incredibly welcoming, and I’ve loved being part of the hockey community ever since.

How do you see year-round ice impacting our community?  I feel that giving the youth the opportunity to progress their interest in a hobby during summer months; whether it’s hockey, figure skating, curling, etc., is very valuable. The ice community during the winter season is such a strong and social scene. To be able to extend the ice to year round will only bring our community closer, and allow us to offer more opportunities for the Gallatin Valley.

Any final thoughts?   I look forward to being a part of The Gallatin Ice Foundation, and now you can find me at the rink year round! - My dream has come true!
