Happy summer, everyone! I'm thrilled to be getting back into the swing of GIF things after spending the last few months on maternity leave. If you weren't at the Gloves Off Gala on March 25, you may not have known that my husband and I welcomed our daughter, Saylor, to the world that afternoon - which was oh so fitting.

I want to extend a hearty thanks to Anna for doing such a great job while I was away. From putting the finishing touches on the Gloves Off Gala to organizing her own "It's More than a Rink" campaign for Give Big Gallatin Valley, she truly stepped up to the challenge! And because she's been such a wonderful addition to our team, we've asked her to stay with us as our Development Director, leading fundraising efforts and continuing to manage day-to-day operations. Please join me in congratulating Anna!

So with fundraising in the capable hands of Anna, I've decided to take a tiny step back from work to spend more time with my family. I'll be staying on part-time to work on grant writing, rink advertising sales and marketing, and am excited for the opportunity to purse some new funding opportunities for our project.

Over the next few months, Anna and I will be doing a lot of planning for the upcoming season. We'll be announcing some exciting changes and will continue to work diligently to make year-round ice a reality for our community. If you have any questions or want to get more involved, please let us know.

Cheers,

Chelsea Williams
