Todd Ward, President

What's your day job? I am a Data and Pricing Analyst for Comfort Company. We manufacture seating and position products for wheelchairs all around the world.

What inspired you to join the GIF board?  When I moved to Bozeman with my family in 2010, I was lucky enough to meet then GIF President, Matt Kraska. Matt invited me onto his team, the Saints, and I was hooked after a 30-year hiatus from hockey. The more people I met, the more I realized what a special bond the Bozeman ice community has. When Matt asked me to join the team in the summer of 2014, I looked at it as an opportunity to help fulfill a dream for the Gallatin Valley skating community.

If there was one thing you wanted people to know about the GIF, what would it be?  This Board is dedicated and laser focused in accomplishing this mission. We are standing on the shoulders of all who have helped move this project forward over the years and know that now is the time to buckle down and make a second ice sheet a reality.

Any final thoughts?  The most amazing thing about my experience in Bozeman, and more specifically with the GIF, is how receptive and willing our community is to make this project succeed. From the individuals, foundations and businesses that donate their time, money and expertise - to the County, BAHA and other community partners whose willingness to work together allows the GIF to focus on fundraising. This is a true community partnership, and one that we all should be proud of. We appreciate your support in 2016 and beyond!
